Extremely strong fine-mesh hay net specially designed for round bales that ensures the hay is consumed slowly.
Knot-free and made from extremely strong material (polypropylene), making the net very durable. The fine mesh and quality also reduce hay loss.
The net comes with a 7-meter long ultra-strong hanging rope. The thread is processed without knots, so it does not damage tooth enamel.
Best use?
Perfect for outdoor use in the pasture to feed hay slowly.
Can be pulled around the round bale in one go (size 160 x 155 cm) and easily closed with the included closing rope.
Why use a slow feeder hay net?
When horses and ponies consume too much hay at once, they can develop stomach ulcers or even colic. By using a slow feeder hay net, the animal receives small amounts throughout the day, greatly improving digestion and reducing boredom (less stress). Additionally, our nets simulate the natural way horses eat by allowing them to consume small amounts all day long.
